【摘要】:Thetendencyofoilstofoamcanbeaseriousprobleminsystemssuchashigh-speedgearing,high-volumepumping,andsplashlubrication.Inadequatelubrication,cavitation,andoverflowlossoflubricantcanleadtomechanicalfailure.Thistestmethodisusedintheevaluationofoilsforsuchoperatingconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthefoamingcharacteristicsoflubricatingoilsat24x00B0;Cand93.5x00B0;C.Meansofempiricallyratingthefoamingtendencyandthestabilityofthefoamaredescribed.1.2WARNINGMercuryhasbeendesignatedbymanyregulatoryagenciesasahazardousmaterialthatcancausecentralnervoussystem,kidneyandliverdamage.Mercury,oritsvapor,maybehazardoustohealthandcorrosivetomaterials.Cautionshouldbetakenwhenhandlingmercuryandmercurycontainingproducts.SeetheapplicableproductMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)fordetailsandEPAx2019;swebsitehttp://www.epa.gov/mercury/faq.htmforadditionalinformation.Usersshouldbeawarethatsellingmercuryand/ormercurycontainingproductsintoyourstateorcountrymaybeprohibitedbylaw.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,seeSections7,8,and9.1.1.
