【摘要】:Uponmutualagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,wovenhighstretchfabricsusedinapparelshouldmeetalloftherequirementslistedinTable1ofthisspecification.Itisrecognizedthat,forpurposesoffashionoraesthetics,theultimateconsumerofarticlesmadefromthesefabricsmayfindacceptableproductsthatdonotconformtoalloftherequirementslistedinTable1.Therefore,oneormoreoftherequirementsinTable1maybemodifiedbymutualagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.Insuchcases,anyreferencestothespecificationsshouldspecifythat:x201C;ThisproductmeetsASTMspecificationsXXXXexceptforthefollowingcharacteristic(s).x201D;Wherenopre-purchaseagreementhasbeenreachedbetweenthepurchaserandsupplier,andincaseofcontroversy,therequirementslistedinTable1areintendedtobeusedasaguideonly.Asnotedin4.2,ultimateconsumerdemandsdictatevaryingperformanceparametersforaparticularproduct.Theusesandsignificanceofparticularpropertiesandtestmethodsarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifiedtestmethods.1.1Thisspecificationcoverstheperformancerequirementsforwovenhighstretchfabricsusedinapparel.1.2Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsdescribedinthisperformancespecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
