【摘要】:Themeasurementofadherenceinporcelainenamelsystems,suchasgroundcoat,groundcoat/covercoat,anddirect-oncover-coatenamels,isanimportantprocedureformonitoringprocessvariablesinmetalpreparation,enamelapplicationthickness,steelselection,andenamelselection,aswellasassuringtheultimatequalityofthefinishedproduct.1.1Thescopeofthistestmethodis:1.1.1Todeterminequantitativelytheamountofenamelremainingaftertheporcelainenamelcoatingspecimenhasbeendeformed;1.1.2Tostandardizethedeformationparametersfortestingadherenceofporcelainenameltosheetmetal;and,1.1.3Toprovideaquantitativeadherenceratingscaleforcomparisontoreferencestandards.1.2Thisadherencetestmethodisapplicabletoporcelainenamelcoatingsonsubstratesfrom18to24gauge(0.0478to0.025in.orfrom1.214to0.654mm).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
