【摘要】:Rosin,particularlygumandwoodrosin,occasionallycontainssmallamountsofcontaminationsuchassand,dirtorbark.Rosinderivativesoccasionallycontaintracesofinsolublematerialasaresultoftherawmaterialsusedintheirproductionortheymaybegeneratedduringtheproductionprocess.Inallinstancesthepresenceofsuchinsolublematerialshouldbeminimal.Thistestmethoddescribesarapidandreliableprocedurefordeterminingtheamountofsuchinsolublematter.Itisbasedontheknowledgethatrosinandmostofitsderivativesaresolubleinnumerousorganicsolventswhereasmostcommoncontaminantsarenot.Itisespeciallyusefulforinternalqualitycontrolratherthansalesspecifications.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheamountofinsolublematterinrosinandrosinderivativesasdescribedinTerminologyD804.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
